In a dimly lit room rhythmic pulsation leads to records slowly falling off the shelves as DJ Manipulator focuses on the evolution of his newest production. Searching through piles of vinyl, knowing one in particular has the horns that would match the bass line he just recorded perfectly; he stumbles upon a record with an amazing break on the b-side, which he can not believe he hasn't used yet. He holds off on his horn hunt and begins to chop and distribute the elements of the break into their new home over the bass loop. Kicks, snares, hats and cymbals are given their own space to grow on the track as he returns to his heap for that horn loop he knows exists somewhere within the chaos that is his musical collection.

This is the world of DJ Manipulator- one where music must be created and will be created. Where the compositions of past masters are brought back to life as if the bodies of Miles Davis, Marvin Gaye and Thelonius Monk (just to name a few) were selected by Dr. Frankenstein himself. Ligaments of instruments stitched together and revived through electric shock soul and funk fluctuate from traditional "boom-bap" to trail blazing original opus'. You can find the doc, DJ Manipulator in his asylum executing murky sound surgery on a daily basis. His nights? Filled with performances for crowds across the US along side acclaimed artists such as El-P, M.O.P. and Joe Budden (amongst several others).

And although his modesty compliments his humbleness, his goal still remains to become a house hold name. His hard work and dedication will soon prove that his efforts were not left in vane.
